Hi, we're Jeik and Chris, co-founders of Sunset. Like many of you—especially those of Asian descent— we've dealt with the frustration of alcohol flushing firsthand. That telltale redness, warmth, and nausea that turns a night out into an early exit? Jeik grew up navigating it as an Asian-Australian, while Chris discovered it unexpectedly in his 30s. For ten years, we poured our experiences (and late nights researching) into creating Sunset—a targeted supplement to help break down acetaldehyde faster, so you can sip without the flush.

Jeik Savage - Director, ALDH2 Optimize Limited
Jeik holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Law from the University of Monash. For 15 years he worked as an equities advisor specialising in healthcare and biotechnology stocks, giving him deep insight into the science and regulatory landscape of health products.
Jeik has spent over 10 years researching alcohol metabolism and leading the R&D and formulation of Sunset. He oversees every aspect of product development, from ingredient sourcing and clinical references to third-party testing, ensuring Sunset meets the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.
Chris Rowe - Managing Director, ALDH2 Optimize Limited
Chris Rowe is the Managing Director of ALDH2 Optimize Limited and has spent over 20 years successfully bringing dietary supplement and functional health products to market across Australia, North America, and Europe.
With deep expertise in formulation, global ingredient sourcing, GMP manufacturing, third-party testing, and regulatory compliance, Chris has launched dozens of science-backed supplements for leading brands. At Sunset, he leads product development alongside Jeik, obsesses over supply-chain transparency, and ensures every batch meets (and usually exceeds) the strictest quality standards.
Alanna Rice - Community Growth Lead, ALDH2 Optimize Limited
Alanna leads Sunset’s social media presence and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, ensuring our messaging is accurate, helpful, and relatable.
With a background in health science and digital marketing, she conducts ongoing product and competitor research, monitors scientific literature on alcohol metabolism, and translates customer feedback into actionable insights for the team. She also oversees customer support, making sure every question, review, and concern is handled promptly and personally.
